The spacious bathroom features a new electric power shower and provided a decent range of toiletries, which made for a refreshing start to the day. The overall cleanliness of the room was commendable, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep despite the cold outside.
Checking in at the bar felt outdated, adding an unnecessary delay after a long drive. Rooms lacked lifts, which can be a hassle for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. I had to navigate multiple doors just to find my room. The flat-screen TV, while a nice touch, was surprisingly small for the room's size. No visible internet during my stay, making it challenging to keep connected. Breakfast, though basic, lacked variety and wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the scrambled eggs were well-prepared. Finally, the heating system shuts off around 11 PM, which might be uncomfortable for some during colder nights.

The staff made the check-in process quick and welcoming, leading us to a clean room with a comfy bed that ensured a restful night. Breakfast was a highlight, offering well-cooked options like a full English. the shower cubicle felt cramped, and we missed out on pancakes despite them being on the menu. Small details like the lack of an extra blanket for twin beds could improve the experience.

I had a lovely time at The Thatch Inn! The room was modern and comfortable, with a big bed that made for a great night's sleep. Everything I needed for my one-night stay was right there, making it easy and hassle-free. The staff stood out. they were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delightful spread that included freshly baked pastries and fruit. I did have some issues with noise. the bedroom door had a gap, allowing light from the corridor and sounds from passing guests to come through. The shower cubicle felt a bit cramped, especially for someone of taller stature. Still, I found the overall atmosphere cozy and charming.

I had a wonderful time relaxing with drinks on the sun terrace and enjoying the beautiful garden area during my stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, like smoked salmon and eggs benedict, and the portions at dinner were massive and beautifully presented. The only downside was that my bed was a bit too soft for my liking, but it didn't spoil the overall experience at all! 🌟
